    mark my words Steve... CCD will be out before too long... opce CMOS catches up, it will be the better choice because of power consumption and manufacturing line availability.

    bummer, just got back from the camera shop and they had a whole bunch of those UV filters in various sizes (all circulair though). The were in the price range of 20 to 50 euros (26 - 65 usd). But the guy from the shop didn't know what each of the filters did with the UV light, reflect or absorb.... So I didn't buy one since I found 20 euros alot of money if I would find out that it didn't work and I can't bring it back.... But I did remember the brandnames, Hama and Blueline I believe it was. So I'll google to see if there's any info on wether these reflect or absorb UV.... Unless you can tell me
