Its ok as long you had physically shuttered off the aperture below the horizon, which I'm sure you had.

I remember Rob's 1 Watt 532 Laserwave at UKLEM. Man that pencil beam was bright. In fact diameter apart I'm not sure it wasn't as bright as the 10 watter. Only because the 10 watt had a huge diamter and the 1W was as tight as a small flies bottom (knat's ass ).

so far so good. the melles was actually a little better off than i thought.

it would pop on at about 2W, then drop to about 1.6-1.8W.

if i started modulating fast, it woul drop to about 600-700mW

this new one is just CRAZY. i think i can honestly say it is almost TOO bright! (indoors anyway)

now i gotta get RED and BLUE to match! anyone got $50k i can borrow?

    Hey, no worries Marc.

I was just interested in how the beam specs of this hold up against combining 2 x 1 watt Laserwave greens in real life.

It's one thing reading the spec's on a website or a bit of paper, but real life figures are what really counts

As I said, don't worry about it. It's not a life or death situation and any time you have the time will do.

    Thanks

    Jem
