    Welcome to the forums realtime!
    Nice projectors!
could you tell us what that collimator is that you use to get the red beam size down?
It looks really interesting and working well. I believe that many here would like to know more about it

    Default it's an ARCTOS

Hello at all, thanks a lot !

Hi zoff, this red 100 mW diode head (653 nm) was specially build from ARCTOS for me. I wanted from Tom a head which is 100% compatible in beam specification for combining with my old ALC60. Beam diamater at output nearly 1mm.

That's the reason why there is a big aluminum block which has the same output high as a ALC head (on the picture it hangs aside).

The collimator is an 3 lens secondary collimator from ARCTOS the price of this in 2005 was alone 120€.

At a distance of 7,5 meter the diameters have been the same of all 3 heads.

You can see the dichros work nearly without leakage, these are from HB laser also in 2005. I am sad that these dichros no more sold, i don' know why.

    That is REALLY impressive!

    Welcome the the forum realtime

I also see some extrusion there... I like extrusions

That last picture is great! It motivates me that much more to put my second projector together now

    Default redesign ready, power doubled

    Hello,

now here are the promised pictures after redesign of the above RGB projector, brand new, 30 minutes old.

The beams are not 100% completely one above the other, but for the 1st test ok.

The 4 heads together have 930 mW (no laserwor... mW ), after optics I measured 830 mW, it's ok. The powermeter is a die4laser, perfect ! Bevore I had a coherent lasercheck.

The red one is an ARCTOS. The others are CNI. The quality of CNI has abated, this is also acknowledged from other freaks here. The linearity has a big hole at 70% input level, but it doesn't matter it is to powerful, anyway.

Everybody who wonders about the cabeling, dont worry, its ok. For me it is important to work reliable and not looking nice.

    best regards from germany
