    12K at 20 degrees

Yea at those angles it does a bit. I did the math last night and brought it down to 8 degrees and it goes away. It is amazing how small 8 degrees is compared to 20 and 25...

Thumbs up Before this falls off the first page...

I have to say, as a sort of update; without this projector purchase, I do not think I would have been able to make the 5 laser shows I have completed to date. I have had it 6 months tomorrow... or the next day, and have probably put about 400 hours on it. The only problem I have with it is trying to install a shutter, which they now offer as an optional component. I regret not asking about one; I assumed it came with one.

I am sure if the shutter is an option, you could just order the one they use and ask where they put it, then install it yourself. That is, if you feel comfortable doing the work

Talking last on the front page again...

I am not sure the cost of the shutter, but I doubt it is that much; not sure on the failsafe either as mine doesn't. I got a couple of shutter options recently and have been trying to work up the nerve to solder a cable or three to install it... I might get the nerve up just after the warranty is out; give me a few months.

Tjee no failsafe, no shutter, thats a lot of money for a quality scanset and modules. And of course the service is excelent of kvant. Probably you pay for the name too. Hopefully they will ad some safetyfeatures in the near future

    Lightbulb

You can request a shutter but I thought it was a standard feature when I got mine and did not "request one".
