    A middle-aged photographer had pain from a corneal abrasion after taking photographs of a ship. He surmised that there had been a laser device on the ship and that a laser injury had caused his discomfort.

    Hahahaha. He surmised?!?!? You've got to be kidding me. That conversation had to be comedy gold.

    "Yeah, doc. I've been having all these problems lately. Ma hair's fallin out, my junk's not workin, and I need glasses to read the paper. I think it all started after I took some photographs of a ship. There must have been a laser on that there ship."

    And it's believed that gangs of dangerous lasers are roaming the streets at night, robbing people and stealing cars. Probably.

    Actually a briefing came out a about a year ago about a few gangs in the Phillipeans and other parts of Asia, using high power pointers as blinding weapons and intimidation tools...

    So IT MUST be true.
