    Default Really? (KVANT product question)

    Did you guys see THIS?

It has 5 whopping WATTS of 577 yellow!!! That has got to be the Coherent OSL... which is multi-mode... Or did I miss the memo on this one too?

    Hmmmm... no price though.
D'ya think that with the credit crunch and all, this will be going for about 5,000 euros?

I'd raid my granny's piggy bank for a 25 Watt RGB from Kvant.

    Check this out...

    http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...ead.php?t=6680

Martin's price list does show the 5W yellow in the 25W Spectrum, as a Coherent. Pricing on the 15W RGB Spectrum at ~57K euros.

Ah well, at least we can dream

I'd really like some yellow, some day...

    Yes.

Any RGBs>5W have 532 Coherent modules inside and 577 are always Coherent as well...that is why the price is BIT higher.
----------tipello.net - i am not referring you, i just DO recommend it.

Well... I don't know how to 'categorize' the price... I'm not sure I can afford a laser projector that costs enough for a house nowadays... maybe some day when 1W of 577nm goes for $100, that will be possible

My question here is this: How does this really work? KVANT is claiming a <1.5 divergence on multi-mode lasers... Are they using 1" beams?

Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated...

    Thanx!
