    hey guys-

pat sent me one of these. (thanks pat!!! )

in all honesty, they are GREAT!!! perfect size for smaller optics and i LOVE the adjustments on them. too many mounts (other than the actuall MM1 mounts) had sloppy and "easy to adjust themselves" thumb screws. this SUCKED for in the field at shows!!! put it in a club and youre adjusting your optics 27 times a night. pats adjustments are ROCK SOLID tight!!! LOVE IT!!!!

GREAT build. machined superbly. GREAT quality optical mount! reccomend it for all!! (pat, wheres my comission now??)

KIDDING!! i have no stake in this! i just like to recognize a great product when i see one!

Thanks marc, as far as I know it is the smallest mount with a shoot through the back of the mount. It has two surfaces to mount to. I like it, the mm-1 and it use to be my favorite...but now this one is my favorite. When my mill gets here...I have a line of accessories that will interface with this little mount. Stay tuned for more info.

As a side note, I think my mill is coming in and hooked up by friday. If anyone needs some whachamachallets or thingamagigs done let me know, I will try to be reasonable with pricing. It is not a cnc but it is all I could afford, and I cant even afford it.

    Default Ultramount - Sexymount

    Hi all

Just a few words about Ultramount. Pat mailed me one which I recieved last week and I have to say its a sexy little device. Its very nicely made with a top qulaity finish and as Marc points out the adjustment is smooth fine and precise with no sloppyness at all. Tonight I set it up with a dichro and tried firing a laser at it to get an idea of the range of movement and there is plenty to be had. I havent tried to measure how many degrees adjustment it gets but I do know if you need more than its got you have goofed somewhere in fixing the mount!
Best of all is how compact it is, to be so small in terms of footprint and still have the adjustment that its got is fab plus with one of my Laser-wave mounting bases attached it is perfect height for a Laser-wave laser.
Well done to Pat for his dedication to the cause - all his efforts have paid off as this is a great little piece of kit - and looks damn sexy too

    Thumbs up

I must say, I am a slack bitch sometimes... I received a mount from Pat a few weeks ago and am now just posting a bit about it.

I have just about stopped "touching" anything laser related; not much to touch in the Kvant. I fired up all the parts from the RGBV and took some pictures of the mount incase Pat needs some "action" shots for his site. Please note, the optic screw is from another mount...

You know, I think you should sell those mirrors, they appear to make the beam on the blue smaller
