    Default Moving head cracked dichro

MAC 250. Red dichro. While servicing, screwdriver slipped, and cracked the dichro. Whats the best solution for this? I'm thinking of getting one cutting to specs and gluing in place. Replacing entire wheel is as much as 1/3 the price of the moving head. Any ideas where to get one. Thanks.
I hired an Italian guy to do my wires. Now they look like spaghetti!

I think MarioMaster was selling some dichroic glass out of LCD projectors a while back. I wouldn't imagine it to be too hard to find.

One Stop Laser Shop sells it.

I also have some zero incidence angle red. How big a piece do you need?

Contact your local Martin distributor. You should be able to but dichroics individually.

Yes, they definately sell dichros separately.

Use high temp silicone gasket from Halfords, etc to fix with. Much cheaper than the Martin stuff.

That sounds like a far more reasonable solution.

I also have a spare piece of red Dichro out of a some martin MX-1's your welcome to. But its pretty small 15mm x 15 approx. I have decided to but complete new gobo wheels for these units as restoring the existing ones would cost to much buying the various pieces individually and afixing. PM if required
