NICE cases!

i got a supplier for some nice enclosures. I just got this one the other day for demo purposes. This one was only...shit, i think....$200. maybe a few bucks more.

its 14"X8.5"X8" nice sturdy aluminum.

it can be made to pretty much any size desired though. obviously, pricing would be according to size.

just thought y'all would be interested.

That's nice! I like the fact that it is all aluminum extrusion. That is nice to make it modular. The red is a nice touch as well! Does it have a optics plate or a way to mount one in it without screwing through the outside?

there is a plate on the bottom, however i would use thicker aluminum plates with standoffs for mounting.

i like this case alot. i may just make up a small RGB system in here for the hell of it. lol.

I may be interested... Just finished building my first laser projector but its in need of a good case. I was looking around a bit but haven't been able to find one that I like the best.
How thick is the alum? I'm asking so I know how hard it would be to cut the holes for connections and everything... I'll probably use a dremel or something like that (unless you have any other suggestions).

i will measure it when i get home. i am guessing right now about 1/4". a dremel would do fine on this!

Looks nice! I'm looking for a case too. Would the height dimensions be constrained to be a multiple of the extruded panel width, and if so what are the options?

right now we can only do the case shown. (or smaller).
the case is 14"X 8" X 8"
its cost is $250.

i am working on getting a:

20"X14"X10" case.
24"X12"X12" (like an LT1000)

price and availability TBA. aluminum is 1/8"

I am also going to be doing product reports for these. which means when it is approved this will be an FDA/CDRH CERTIFIED laser enclosure. At that point, price will be higher of course. HOWEVER, i will give an option to purchase the uncertified ($250) or certified ($X)
