Hey! Give me a call this weekend; I am on call this weekend... and next week, but that usually is more of an excuse to stay up late. I keep praying it will get nice and foggy out around dusk and stay that way all night... Hasn't happened in about a year. I can't wait to see the Spectrum out in the back yard on a foggy night.

i will figure something out to get to this. once i see a date i will confirm. i was PISSED i couldnt go to FLEM a few weeks ago. i GOTTTTTA go to this! i will DEFINITELY be at SELEM too.

We just had the corporate pay-reduction conference call, one day AFTER I signed a lease and paid to furnish an apartment (2nd home) in Huntsville.

That should pretty well take care of any more upgrade plans for a while...

Sorry to hear it Randy - but yeah, I figured you'd be busy setting up the new digs in Alabama. Pay reduction? Does that apply to you as well? (I would think that as a new hire, your salary would be fixed - based on what you negotiated at signing...)

We're still waiting for Laserguy in New Jersey to comment on which days will work for him, but if you have any input (weekends that *won't* work for you, for example), then please speak up. I expect we'll be able to nail down the exact date in the next few days.

Yep, with very few exceptions (and I'm not one of them) -

A considerable chunk comes off the top, across the board, for at least the next quarter. SELEM may be THE summer vacation this year!!

This next two months isn't going to nessarily fall on any extra convient date..

I will step aside and see what date appears when the dust settles...

I mentioned it to the wife the other night and she actually smiles

Not because of the Lasers ... but warm and sunny Florida.

Moneys tight but just maybe we can swing a three day weekend... That would be asweomse.. She can enjoy photons from the sun while enjoy photons from the Lasers..

Lets just see what date happens for me and then what airfare will cost for those dates..

We just found out last week that we will be required to have 2 weeks unpaid vacation this summer. But I am not complaining... much better than a pink slip or complete salary cut.
But darnit... that really dictates summer plans doesn't it?

We all just need ot hang in there.... at least we got out lasers =)
