Yeah, it's cranked down for a good white balance, ready and waiting for for bigger brothers and sisters , though next on the shopping list are the DTs and new DAC. In the meantime I'll be working on the interlock and safety system.

I learned a lesson last night too; don't get your fingers in the path of a watt of laser light when you're setting convergence = ouch!

... and certainly not with a black spot drawn on your finger! (not even with a 300 mW beam)

I was playing around with the interlock system over the weekend, I had just the blue running and the beam was passing under my arm, out of the door into an adjacent room (by that time at shoulder height to avoid my cat). I was tinkering away when I heard the tippy tap of my German Shepherd's feet on the wooden floor. I turned around to find the silly mut standing on it's hind legs, head up in the air, with them beam up it's nose, trying to sniff it!

see that because they know quality colours ... they totaly ignore red or green

now you need to project an ilda frame of a Bone ... and scan it around the room ...

Blue is 150mw, Red approx 450mw (getting replaced very soon with 642nm red 600ish mw, or whatever Laserwave release) 1 watt of green (turned down obviously).
