Default Coherent Sapphire 20mW 488nm OPSL laser + CPU driver

Some picture below of the Coherent Sapphire 488-20 OPSL laser + CPU interface and Power supply board that I have up for grabs.

Finally got it working today after awaiting information from Coherent UK for the DC input connections on the 10pin Molex connector on the PSU/driver board. They where very helpful and sent me over a .PDF file with everything I needed to know about it I soon had it connected to a 12v power source and had it producing beams.
Excellent beam quality and surprisingly bright for 23mW!!
The laser is TEC cooled and is RS232 (with suitable software) controllable plus is also analog controllable by means of a 25pin D style connector. All pinouts are in the .PDF document supplied with the Laser.
I also have an original Coherent operation manual for it on it's way to me from the States which will also be included in the sale.
10.8 - 15vDC input will get it lasing as long as the DIP switches are set to override the many safety interlocks.
The head can be remote from the driver boards by means of a 25pin D type, male/female plug/socket fly lead, usually 1.5M long (not supplied) although the chap I got it from says he has it somewhere and will post it if he can find it - which I will post onto the buyer, the same as the operation manual.
In the pictures below the driver is simply plugged into the rear of the head.

I have had it running here at the side of me for a good hour now and it is no more than luke warm

Offers please - on here or via PM?

    Thanks
    Jim

    Thumbs up

VERY NICE item! I guess it would be an insult to post the "$10" offer. Good luck on the sale; I am banned from purchasing at the moment. The deal I got caused a bit of punishment from the boss.

Re the brightness, I'm presuming its so bright because of the frequency. When you consider 635 vs 650, then here you have 488 vs 473. I'm guessing its probably somewhere in the region of 1.5 times as bright as 473 because of the bump up towards the eye sensitivity region, maybe even more given that its far nearer to 528 than the red frequencies to start with.

Pity its only 20 mw though as I'd love to have an OPSL. 200mw and it would have been a winner.
