Default Laser power metering service !

    Hello guys !

I recently got a 1W LaserBee meter. I thought that I should give some services back to the community that helped me with my laser needs!

I know quite a few of you here have power meters, but I thought I would offer to help anyway.

I'm offering to meter your laser, all you need to do is pay shipping charges both ways. I will return the laser with tracking and insurance for however much the laser is worth, it would be good if you could also do the same.

Since the LaserBee uses a thermal head sensor, I can measure any wavelength at any power between 5mW and 1050mW.

I would also like to review lasers that people send to me for metering, granted this is okay with whoever owns the laser, especially if the laser comes from somewhere like wicked lasers, CNI or another famous company.

I hope my offer can help many people here, and I hope this is enough to give something back to the community.

Please send me a PM if you are interested.

    thanks,

    -Adam

Do you have the data logging version?
I made a spreadsheet that belched out a plethora of statistics and drew some nice graphs after you put in the raw data. (Mine was from an adapted 5W Coherent head, but I'm sure it would work if you pasted the data)

I'll dig it out if you're interested...

Sadly it isn't the data logging version. Would I just need to put the readings from the meter into the spreadsheet and I would get graphs and other figures ?

    Yep, you could do.
It would just get mighty mighty boring sitting there for an hour typing in numbers every minute.

I'll see if I can find it, however bear with me as I lost 500GB of data last weekend, so fingers crossed it wasn't on that drive...

    Hi Dan -

I've got a non-logging LaserBee also. I'd like a copy of that app too, please.

    TIA,

    Tim

Found an old copy! (Not the latest though...)
Anyone who want it PM me and I'll send a copy...
Feel free to use it, just don't go making any money off it or batting it around to every Tom, Dick and Harry

    Ta,
    Dan
