    My 450 RGY from NRG has the same cheapo lashup for the dichros, but everything is mounted on 10mm thick alu.

    Also; from those pictures it looks like your nearfield alignment is way off (as mine was), you could improve things by spending some time aligning everything, which would also be much easier with propper 3 axis mounts.
