Everyone here knows i luvvvvvv these scanners .... its just the companies attitude and marketing exploits that pull my chain

if only ....... we could find out the chinese manufacturer of these ... i bet dave could shift a few sets .... im guessing they have an exclusive deal with laserworld though ... yep they oooze quality and mine pissed 30k straight out of the box ..... im a bit unsure about running them above ( just my personal feeling ) as the drivers and galvos are based on the world standard Cambridge 6800s and they were built to do 30k ... so without knowing what improvements have been made ( if any ) on the 6800 spec i personaly would not push them faster

Yes i must say i was wel impressed with these scanners
the even outperformed my recently killed by lightning 35k set.

I cant say a lot about laserworld them selfs.
I just spoke with Peter and he whas very helpful.
And knows what he's talking about.

I have also 2 of those sets, I think they have the best price quality I have ever seen becouse you can buy them on ebay for about 200 euro;s ( I payed 150 euros)

There is one warning, make sure you cool the galvo's propery I had one set screwed to a wooden surface, and the optical pickup of the galvo melted.

Im not getting anywhere near the out of the box speeds you mention, I really wish there was some one in Australia that i could go to and see re getting them tuned accordingly.

at what speed and angle are the getting onto trouble ?
