Does anyone know where I can get new dishes for moonflower effects? I can't find any around...

Ahh, cant find one the right size... and they need to be coloured not just plain. Although I have a mirror ball with small 0.5mm - 10mm mirrors on it, could be interesting compared to the original 24 colours it has.

It would be nice if the damn thing would work longer than 10 mins, its in need of repair for the 3rd time now.

What the heck does it do to the disk if they break so quickly??

I bought the unit for cheap off eBay and was just in need of repair, its proven more trouble than its worth though...

When I got it the fuse had already blown, some mirrors came off the dish and some were cracked, the transformer had actually melted itself, the bulb was missing and there was so much dirt on the mirrors and lens that by the time I was done cleaning it the tissue was black.

A few fuses later I bought a new transformer, and new bulb and all seamed to work to work fine until the 100W halogen bulb melted its holder... So I bought a new holder for the bulb and it worked for about 1 hour and the motor holding the dish went a bit mad and its totally died again... I assume the fuse has blown again because nothing at all works on it but I havent bothered taking a look at it yet.

Im after a new dish because of the cracked and missing mirrors. Plus the fact one of the mirrors that came off that I managed to rescue actually works somewhat well as a dichro.
