    Anyway, thanks so much for the info, I will keep researching. I just got first light on my galvo... only green is online now, but have a bunch of parts in the mail to give me a 405/650/532 "RGV" setup. None of my drivers are 'analog', so I'm going to have to build my own drivers for the lasers I have. This will also help with color balance, I assume.

    Has anyone tried to use a webcam to assist with color calibration? Seems like it might be doable. ...

    If you tossed out out a 7 nanosecond , self contained , 300 mJ , 20 hz , 110V yag with a water to air heat exchanger, the whole thing the size of a desktop PC, I feel for ya. It just got sold to a University in Buffalo, so I need a new avatar.
    That thing snaps the air on every pulse, when focused.

    Somebody had to keep your attention for 15 seconds, Ad Hominum attacks keep you stimulated.

    Cool

    Pat;

    Your new avatar suits you. I like it a lot. (Truth be told, your old avatar gave me the creeps, dude...)

    Now, as for the "runner up" picture that you posted above... All I can say is:
