    Unhappy

    That didn't work either, even after a second download. Guess I will have to be satisfied watching mine...

    Cool

    For what it's worth, I don't particularly care for the 445 nm blue either. I've seen it on the ILDA cruise, and again when I saw Aaron's projector at FLEM. It's a beautiful blue, don't get me wrong. It's just that in order to get that deep blue, you give up the bright blue, and I find that I really miss the brighter color blue.

    I think if I were ever to build a projector with a 445 nm blue laser in it, I would also need to install a 473 nm blue in there. Then you'd have the best of both worlds... You'd have the deep, purple-blue of the 445, and you'd also have the awesome robin's-egg blue of the 473.

    Note: This is not a subtle difference I'm talking about. If you ever get a chance to see two projectors side-by-side, one with 473 and one with 445, you'll see what I'm talking about. It's *way* more noticable than the difference between 635 nm red and 660 nm red. Sure you can make some impressive colors with that deep blue, but when you look at the standard color wheel it's immediately obvious that an important color is missing.

    Those Kvant projectors are very nice, but in my opinion they need some 473 in them to be perfect. (Well, they also need a shutter, and they could use one of DZ's color timing correction boards to get rid of the tails too.)

    It's a no go for me either... I couldn;t get it to play... All I see is a digital mess of cubes and annoying noises!

    I tried renaming to avi, mpg, mpeg, wmv... etc..

    Downloaded it again and tried playing it with VLC and BS... same thing...

    Any help here please?

    Thanx;

    Did you let the BS player download the additional codecs?
