Default 1.4W RGB KVANT demo video

    Hi all.

After few comments (mainly criticising the colours at UKLEM) about my 1.4W RGB Kvant projector I decided to get a camcoder and put together little presentation. I hope you will like it. It is my first experience with camcoder and editing. Second sound track is mine...from the days when I did some music production .
Video is in mpg format (it does not appear like video file-don't know why, but works in BS player), over 6 minutes long, showing many colour combinations and some 3D grapghics as well. Camcoder used is JVC HD30, I did not do any colour tweaks as I tried to keep the colours as natural as possible. It is 116 MB due to reasonably good quality, took me 18 minutes to download.

Always nice to see a Kvant in action.
And those Cambridge scanners really do come into their own when the graphics kick in.

    Niiiiiice.

    Hi Martin

That's a really nice and well put together show

Are you running the show live or was it preset to the music?, Whatever, it's nicely synchronised (the music's not too bad either ).

    Cheers

    Jem

    That would have been me.

Sorry if my original comments came across a little harsh. It really is a very nice projector especially graphically - I doubt I've seen cleaner graphics. However, if I'm going to be honest, (and I'm sure you don't want me to lie), I'm still not that keen on the colour balance particularly on beams as I find it a bit purpley (probably down to the huge amount of 445), but that's entirely a personal preference and no reflection on what is a very nice projector.

    Question

I seem to be doing something wrong... I got audio but no video... I downloaded it and placed a ".mpg" at the end of the file name.
