I take it that's the really expensive console from Pangolin ?

I can't quite afford that just yet - serious cash - sort of double my budget for the time being really.

Pangolin are looking in to the spec of the Remote 37 Limited Editon to see if it will be OK for the mean time - looks exactly what i want - i.e sliders / faders / joystick etc.

    We shall see.

If it puts out MIDI On note signals for the buttons and CC signals on the pots and faders it should be fine... No idea what signals the scratchpad will put out though..

You can configure the Remote Zero as to what type of signal to output... But you really need a touchscreen with one of these to get the full package...

Lasershow Performer rocks..Used them in the past, but don't own one yet

What is the main advantage with the LaserShow performer then ?

Does this eliminate the need for a touch screen as well ?

Sorry if i sound a bit dense - just trying to get my head around it all.

Not many video's etc to see how it all works.

Baby steps - will get there in the end.

See what Pangolin say about the Remote 37 i guess for now.

Lasershow Performer is a Pangolin product, so very high quality and designed for the job. Although it is really for use with Live (Part of Showtime on the QM2000) but it works with live Pro, just doesn't have ALL of the buttons and controls for Live Pro, just the main ones... But you probably wouldn't need the touch screen as well..

You can launch the cues from it, but Live has less cues than Live Pro.. Live Pro has 1700 cues per workspace..

It also has an assignable jog wheel, very handy...

It is a very slick piece of kit... Very tough for road use, illuminated buttons, all colour coded...

Having said that touch screens often crop up on Fleabay for less than £100

What make and model touch screens are people using on here please ???

Will look out for one on ebay if they are only £100. I can stretch to that.

Do you need extra software to run it all or does LivePro have a dual
screen set up with all the virtual push buttons and code ready to go ?

Mine is an ELO touch systems monitor...

Live pro has a dual screen mode built in, which puts the cues on one screen and the rotations etc on the other. You simply put the cue grid on the touch screen and launch them by touching them...

No extra software, just the driver software that comes from ELO..

I'll second the suggestion to use a touch-screen monitor with LivePro. Even if you only have a single monitor, it's still more fun to use the touch screen. But if you have two monitors, then you're all set. Put the workspace on the touch screen and everything else on the other. Works great!

I find that I still use the mouse for the other controls, but for selecting cues, the touch screen rocks!

Ah so FB3 with the included LiveQuick has that cool Winamp plugin effect?

Found some 12 and 15 inch touch screens on ebay - i guess 17 and above is best tho.

What size are you guys using - 17 i take it ?

I'm hooked on this and ain't even got Live Pro yet !

Good way to get rid of your cash - then again the banks seem to
do a good enough job of loosing peoples cash these days, so
it's most probably safer invested in expensive toys !
