    Default Fb3 + live pro

    Hi Guys,

Anyone out there looking to part with the latest version of FB3 and Live Pro ?

Just into lasers for a bit of unpaid fun, so buying new is a bit expensive / hard
    to justify really.

If anyone knows of anything going please PM me.

Going to call around a few places and see what i can get it down to new, just
    out of interest.

I am in a VAT free zone to, which should knock 15% off the price.

    Thanks in advance.

You'll find that anything with the 'Pangolin' name on it holds its value exceedingly well, so I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a bargain to appear.

You really would be better off just contacting Laservisuals and buying new, you'll then have the benefit of their advice etc.

    Cheers

I've just got a brand new FB3 + LivePro which I can sell to you. But it'll cost you more than the RRP for a new one direct from Pangolin
As Jem said, they hold their value. It'd take a lot to prise the FB3 from my fingers

As for VAT, if you bought from Pangolin, the sale would be overseas sales so I think it's VAT exempt anyway...

If this helps: I was REALLY reluctant about spending so much cash on a little box of tricks, but can honestly say it was well worth it. The hardware, software and support are all second-to-none. And I have zero regrets about buying it.
There are so many more things I'm finding it can do the more I use it, and that's only going to continue as I build up my laser into an RGB. The only real limitation is your ability to use the software and then your imagination!

I took the plunge and ordered one direct from Pangolin yesterday (well a mate of mine sorted it all out for me) so just got to wait for it to turn up now - can't wait - seems like alot of hype about it on here

Will get it up and running and then post some video's.

Not sure if i'm being blind, but there seems to be a real lack of video footage of Live Pro in action ?

Anyone out there with any to share ???

    Cool

If you go to 300Evil's Youtube profile page, he has several videos from SELEM 2008. The one that is currently selected as the highlight is SELEM part 5, which is a video of the LivePro demo that Francesco (UncleWorm here on PL) put on for us. If you look at the other videos below the highlight, you'll see Part 4, which is also a demo of LivePro from SELEM. (Shot from a different angle.)

You'll see three RGB projectors running in the videos. The ones on the left and right belong to MechEng3, and the one in the middle is mine. Francesco is controlling everything from a touch-screen laptop in the audience. It's networked to three other computers via a large switch on stage. Each of the computers on stage has a QM-2000 intro board connected to one of the projectors.

We didn't use the beat-detection plug-in because we didn't feel like running 100 ft of audio cable into the audience, so Francesco set the beat manually using the space bar. (One of 3 ways LivePro can accept a BPM input.) The results were quite impressive...
