I know... I REALLY wanted to see the whole incident. There could have been a forest fire or medical helicopter evacuation rescue or... We'll never know for sure now... cause if I was Rick, I be dammed if I shared the rest of the story with the likes of us.

Too bad the camera stopped rolling right when his hair caught on fire. It would have been interesting to see how he got down from there without getting the shit shocked out of him!

I guess he's OK then? No burns or anything?

    Adam,

I was wonder the same thing... I should drop him an email to see how that turned out

But if he is posting it on the site it must have just resulted in some burnt hair and a laugh

If you havn't seen it already...

Rick Gebhardt (owner and operator of laser illusions) just posted the funniest video of himself accidentally setting fire to his hair with his big ass Tesla coil.
Putting yourself in contact with the secondary of a Tesla coil is not a smart thing to do.

Just because a man can code doesn't mean all his decisions are smart.

Default Rick helped me more than I could imagine

Built my first projector with a isa card with graphics work station and a new set of cat weasel scanners ,I was 17 and going hard throwing old school raves .. lasers were rare back then and very expensive. I paid 4000$ and a1000$ for a 50mw green dpss with out blanking..I couldn't afford it..his dacs are awesome and easy .. still got both of them.. for when I find a good pc win 2000 and a laptop with xp .. never had a single problem until ... the computer companies
destroyed isa and parallel technology.. now nothing but issues with any thing 64 bit or usb...Click image for larger version.
