    Question From the ashes...

Well the Laserworld has done fairly well with just the blue and the green. But I had it sitting in the floor, and I got to thinking, How could I rebuild this thing like never before...
I was wondering, how small do the gas ion lasers come? Like Argon? and Kryton? I know HeNe s are small but they dont have much power to them..
    Just thinking

    Cool

You're not going to be able to fit anything larger than a 60X or equivalent in that enclosure. And by the time you add a PCAOM and some solid-state red, you'll have more money invested in the thing than if you just built a second all-solid state projector. (Besides, a 60X is only going to give you around 150-200 mw of power, split between blue and green.)

If you want to re-build that LaserWorld box, make it a solid state rig. If you want higher power, consider making it green-only.

This is true. Its already full of all kinds of stuff... I was just wondering But your right.it would cost a lot of $$$$$$
But maybe a nice 1 or 2 watt green would be nice
or just rebuild to a true 500mw RGB

Yup... my thoughts exactly. Now all you need to decide is which one do you want more? A second RGB, or a 2 watt screamin' green?
