    Default HP 54504A Oscilloscope

I posted a thread a few weeks ago with pictures of a nice new scope I got and was selling some older scopes I had. Well, that same thing has happened and I am now selling my nice HP 54505A scope. It's a 400Mhz 200Ms/S digital scope with 2 inputs. It has a full math capability and a auto scaling function so all you have to do is push a button and it sets itself for you. It even sets the trigger for different values on different channels, all automatically! The display can be configured pretty much any way you want. It can also show video on the display and you can hook it to the output of a DAC and get a display of what the scanner output is going to be.

This is a great scope and a very reliable one. This one was a NOS unit that was opened and tested. The only changes since new on it is the writing on one side where the serial number was written with a sharpie.

If you are interested, please make me an offer, I am up for either trades or cash. The scope is 100% working with no damage or problems whatsoever. I will even guarantee that it will work when you get it or your money back!

    Question

What would one of "us", a geek with lasers, do with an o-scope?

Why not hook it up to your DAC and get a preview of your actual output.

Or, if you have WAY too much time on your hands, plus a $50,000 scope, you can play Doom...

That is cheating, because the scope runs windows, as a native application.

Zoofscope is a far more worthy hack.
