Alright, I fixed it. I just cut a hole in the cop of the case with a holesaw and threw a 90mm fan on it, with a LM317 voltage reg running the fan at about 10V. It's pretty loud, but usually laser shows are accompanied by loud music

If you do that you probably need to block the vents; otherwise the cool air will be getting sucked in through the fan and blown straight out of the vents, when what you really want is for it to go over the stuff inside the case and out through the hole in the front, cooling the galvos. Obviously you want a filter in the intake, to keep the galvos clean. This is the arrangement I have, and it makes a huge difference to the temperature of the galvos- with the enclosure sealed the galvos get warm, but with it open they quickly reach temperatures high enough to melt the glue I used to lock the screws down.
