    The umbilical has now been shortened/removed! as it was far too long and all the wiring has been tidied up.
    It now works as it should. 30A with no problems but I still can't measure the output of the laser head as it pegs my Lasercheck - and some!
    I know you guy's don't like the 'burning' power as quoted but at the moment it's kinda all I have to show it's worth at power output
    It made the hole in that piece of 2mm thick black plastic in 8 seconds!

    I will take some further beam shots tonight with haze

    The 500Hz square wave generator, power adjustment pot and associated wiring will be all set in epoxy/silicone and attached to the plug so as to make a type of 'dongle' affair.

    It does make me wonder if you did indeed test this setup correctly before you sent me it Ben as it simply didn't work properly!
    Very dodgy workmanship indeed.

    Just been messing with the beam and at 15 meters away if I focus the beam down using a lens, it burns white PVC plastic instantly.

    Is there liable to be any IR in the beam content?

    Nope, the beam bounces twice after it leaves the cavlty, both mirrors are HT @ 1064nm, also, the "OC" mirror is a HR for 1064nm and the reflectivity has to be extremely high to allow for a cavity with this many mirrors.

    Hi Guys, I'm new here. Can you help me witch connection?
    I have original Analog PCB, PSU.
    I try connect it like that:
    On the 50 Pin connector

    enable pin 6
    -enable pin 2
    reset 4
    diode current pin 8
    current monitor 28
    watchdog 18
    +5V Pin 27
    analog ground 34
    digital ground 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17,19,21,23,36,38,41,43,45,47,5 0

    enable needs Hi level signal
    -enable needs Lo level signal
    reset needs Hi level (This is used to clear fault conditions)
    diode current (0-5v will set laser from 0-Max Power)
    current monitor (0-5v means 0-50 Amps to diode)
    watchdog needs 500Hz signal

    My question is:
    Pin 2 and 6 should be connect to GND? (on my test both pins was connect to GND)
    Pin 8 is to apply 0-5V for current diode control. (on my test I apply around 2,5V to this pin)
    Pin 18 to this connect 500Hz TTL from generator. (on my test I apply signal TTL 500Hz 50% from DDS generator)
    Pin 28 is for reading voltage? or apply 0-5V?

    I connect it like that and laser not starting. I check voltage on TEC is OK, all rest looking good, I have no fault on LED's, INTERLOCK connected to GND (short on connector) but power for diode not start and going to laser head.
    Can you Guys help me with it? maybe I connect something wrong?
    Thanks a lot for any helping.
