Missing a Yag rod....looks like to me....maybe the diodes ar dead?{reason for the missing rod}

having just spent a few weeks of a few hours a day going through all the bugs in a pre Spectra buyout Positive Light I'd really think twice. Absolute minimalist in design, and corners cut in the electronics. The mech side is fine, but oh boy, there were some doozies in the circuitry. Get it working, then something else pops, then order the parts, repeat cycle. Came down to one tiny diode not blocking a spike in the DC power supply.
