old xerox aom and argon ion laser ?

Im not sure this is the right lace for this thread but anyways.

Im building a laser projector using an single line SP ArIon laser head which means i need an external way of doing the blanking such as an AOM.

Will it work with an ArIon laser ?

i´ve bought one of these, i´ll test it with the argon when it arrives and see if it´ll work and if its still functional.

they are double beam AOMs for red as mixedgas stated on another thread

ask gogu, he has ready to go and top notch AOMs which will fit your argon nicely!

How much do he sell them for ? I already paid for that xerox thing from MI Lasers, 74.95 bucks with shipping included.

I'm pretty sure they were built for 632nm but MAY work with 488nm.

I´ll try it, if it doesent work it´ll go in the bin and i´ll start looking for a real aom.

Maybe i dont need to chuck this aom, i could just get a red HeNe to use with it, what do you guys think ?

I could always get a gogu AOM later on.
