    Default .NET bracket power supply

    Hi Guys,

Tomorrow I will be receiving my new QM2000 Intro card + LivePro

In a few weeks i'm also gonna order the OEM .NET interface so I can build this card into my projector. Now this bracket needs a power supply (of course )

Can anybody here tell me what voltages this bracket needs in order to operate?

The reason why I'm asking this, is because my projector is getting heavy, so maybe I can use a power supply that's allready in there

    thnx!

The .net OEM will run from +5V and +12V, both are needed.

    Hi Guys,

I can confirm that all .NET OEMs shipped these days require +5V, +12, and GND. Some of the older .NET OEM did also require -12V. This is no longer the case.

Do the new boards only have 3 screw terminal for power?

    I have a QM.net with 4 screw therminals.

How can you see if you have a old or new qm.net oem?

    Hey Mccarrot,

You are correct. The new OEM boards only have 3 screw terminals. There was a circuit added that supplies the -12V on the board.

As luck would have it, Myself, Bill, and Justin will be over there for the ILDA meeting in a couple of weeks. Will you be at ILDA or the Pangolin User Gourp meeting? Maybe we could talk hardware over a beer or 3 ;-)
