Anyone have any specs on it? The ebay ad was very sparse as far as what it actually is?

The manual is even sparser, one clains 8 bit color, the other claims TTL, the software looks like its TTL or 7 color.
The drawing window is ONLY 8 bit.
most details are here in PDF.

looks great, till you get to the show engine. No tap sync, no hotkeys, just plays a string of animations with applied effects, ie you cannot manually do anything once it starts. Its for niteclubs with unattended operation.
No assigning a image to a hotkey. Does not come with shows....... And without a real timeline editor, its a real pain to program. It plays a song as a wave, but you have no sync.
See where it says drawing time, that probably means it counts refreshes, not miliseconds. If you change one image, you will have to retime all the show in front of it or behind it.

Look at Laser Design Studio, He Laserscan, Pangolin Fb3 , Mamba, Moncha, before you buy this thing and regret it.
Even Spehgetti and a sound card dac.

I have built a sound card DAC and am very happy with it! I'm also playing with HE-Laserscan and I think I like it. It takes a while before you get the hang of it but when you've played with it for a while it can do amazing things. And also, there is a freeware version which is (ofcourse) FREE! I'm thinking of upgrading to the normal version which has no limitations.

So don't waste your money on that and just go for something of which you know it will work. HE is nice, but mamba, moncha and pangolin is better ofcourse , but pricier
Life is short.... Ride it hard!!

Would anyone care to make a good list (that adds to Steve's list) of why it is no good to buy? That way we can have a list to compare when others like it come out.
