Ouch! That sucks! Told ya those diodes are sensitive. Time to have a...

Wonder what went wrong? Looks like you isolated the diodes on the RGV setup. Nice looking setup BTW. Too bad it kicked the bucket on ya.

Damn Pat, sorry about the diodes--i'll see if i can't round up the mob, kick gottaluvlaser's ass, and turn the tide on your diode luck.

That's a really sweet RGB mount ya got there. Did you machine that? Good job.

pat, i know what you did...

you put the negative side of the PBS cube down instead of the positive side! DUH!!!!!

and your blu rays fried becasue the positrons inside of the laserons somehow or another wiped a hole in the fabric of the space time continuum. this is what you get for buying stuff from me! i sell some CRAZY crap that goes and causes black holes and shit!

lol...youre a good man my friend!

let me know if you need anything. i dont have any drivers or anything, but i got a SHIT load of parts and surface mount components if ya need anything.

and next time, be sure to ground the PBS cubes dummy!!!

Do yourself a favour, stick a scope on that thing with the trigger set to positive-going 5v, timebase in oneshot mode. it sounds like you have a power-on transient.

I lost a media center pc to this, just a few months back - mobo, blueray drive, hard drive, lcd display board, the whole shebang. Only the graphics card and one hard drive lived. The PSU still metered out solid 3.3v, 5v & 12v. Sucky sucking sucker of a suckfest.

Know how you feel. My pc power supply went bang last Saturday morning.

Only a 620W Enermax modular one, so nice and cheap!!! I now have a 700W OCZ but my pockets $130 lighter!!!

I replaced mine with an OCZ 700 too, I'm a bit pissed off with the noise from it though TBH, fine for a gaming machine, not so good in your living room all the time.

That happened to me last night! I was at FLEM... with my BluRays... and then I was home... Damn those laserons! They don't even let you enjoy the time-space continuum continuously!
