Somethings not right with this picture. What is it?

I have one of these in my living room right now. The DB25 is the wrong sex, but ALSO, it's wired differently. When I plug my FB3 into it, I get a vertical line.

When I plug in the control box that came with it, it works fine. (to note, the box has an FB3 in it.)


I'm looking into variancing the thing for a friend. There's a variation out there under a different brand that has an accession number, so I figure it should be a little easier than building something from scratch. (furthermore, it seems to have pretty much everything needed for certification already.)

The one I have is a "DJ Traximus"-branded projector. (WTF is with that name? Really!)

The DJ Traximus projectors are actually Neo-Laser projectors. I have one myself, though I have completely redone the thing from the ground up- much better performance now!
