I am constructing a gigantic catapult in my back garden from used elastic bands specifically for this purpose.

Oh now you've gone and screwed it up... we all know that anything with a laserworld logo on it breaks on a moment's notice, is most probably under powered, and uses a slow arm (galvos)!!
