    3 DAC's - £450
    A computer £150
    2 projectors - £4000??
An ethernet switch - £1000 (benefit of the doubt!)
    2 touchscreens - £120
    Tripods - £100

Even if they were Quantum lasers, it's still about £4000 over...

The sad thing here is that ebay is (was?) primarily an auction site.
Yet peeps now advertise stuff with only a "buy it now" price.

    Where's the auction in that?

I'd bid £2.50 if I had the chance but seeing as how they don't want my cash I shall invest it in a pint of beer.

Oh yes, weep all you like Mr iow_audio but the barman will be getting my hard earned cash and not you !

Just out of curiosity, and because I will be joining some friends in england next year, what is the average price of a beer in the UK?

    Depends where you go.
In touristy areas (London etc.) you can pay £4 per pint but if you venture up to the Black Country then I can recommend some good real ale pubs where you'll pay approx. £2.30 - £2.70 for some smashing beers.

Or hunt out Wetherspoons pubs where they do ale for approx. £1.80 per pint.
