Problem sorted, diode is dying.... after only ~100 hours.... weird.
Anyway its on its way to get repaired so hopefully will be cranking again soon :-)

Bummer.... Rather uncommon for a CNI to die so quickly like that. Glad to hear you've already got the warranty issue sorted out though.

Apparently its just out of warranty... but we'll see what happens :-)

How did you reach the conclusion that the diode was dying?

went over a friend's and tried many different combinations of diodes, drivers, hardware and software.
