ILD file preview

I know this is not an easy thing, but it would be awesome if you attach an ild-file to a post, that there would be a preview image that is generated ....

That would be incredible!

The ILDA format is not that complicated, but the integration and processing (on a VPS) power is not going to be easy...

I wanted to to just this years ago. It didn't pan out.

I have the hardware and resources to do it but the catch I ran into was "programming man power".

Yadda did something very very similar a while ago and I really look forward to one day getting a hold of the code to make this happen.

The hardest part is the interpretation or for lack of a better term, hand-off, between the ild point data and the gd/imagemagik libraries.

I've got the image manipulation libraries here running smoothly thanks to a year plus of gallery debugging... so yea... its just that magic interpreter that halted this project.

Damn shame really.
