Default Can anyone in the UK lend me a laser power meter

...only I've got a couple of new Kvant modules that I'd like to check out, (Red 640nm- 1.2W ; Blue 445nm - 1W) as well as the 1W 532nm Viasho green from last year's group buy.

Max power handling of the meter needs to be at least 1.5W, 4W would be better - and of course I'd pay all the postage costs. Alternatively, if there's anyone with a meter who's curious and doesn't mind a trip to Southampton...
(no I'm not offering to pay fuel costs - but a beer or two wouldn't be out of the question...!)

My intention is to do a review of all 3 items for the forum, and eventually produce an account of my RGB build.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Get ya booty down (up?) to UKLEM 4.5 in less than 3 weeks.

Bound to be clever bods with gadgets there.

I'd love to get to UKLEM 4.5, but it's quite a distance away, and I'm pretty busy at the moment; furthermore, I'd like to get the power readings sorted out a bit sooner if possible!

TBH I think you'll have more luck if you ask if someone near to you will test them for you if you visit. I can't really see people sending you power meters worth several hundreds of pounds through the post.

Tell ya what, I'll bring my 5W Coherent LPM head down to UKLM4.5 Surfleet for you to use. I would post it, however while I do trust you, I DON'T trust the RoyalMail.
    Best I can do,

White light's suggestion is a good'un - is there anyone reasonably near Southampton with a Laser Power meter that would be happy to have a visitor for an hour or so one evening? (My offer to buy a beer or two still stands!). Thanks also to danielbriggs - ideally I'd like to get the testing done a bit sooner as I hope that by the time Surfleet comes around, I'll have everything buttoned up inside a projector - and ideally I'd like to get the figures for beam power before any losses from dichroics and mirrors.
