    Hi,

The seller is honest and reliable; Sam and I know him. If the laser is running at 19-20 mW it is fine for holography. The newer ones made in Singapore are not as good as the older ones made in the USA but that is life. It is a fair deal. Sam and I have better heads but we would want more money also. Looks like a mount is included-buy it! Good luck, Phil

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Both lasers are from honest trusted sellers and are similar. Best, Phil

Perhaps you pasted the wrong link, as this listing is just for the crystal; you would still need a pump diode, TEC, case, driver & power supply, and then you need to assemble it. Seems like it would be much easier, and cheaper, to buy the $290 500 mw CNI from Goldenstar.

I have a 250mw omni-laser 532nm that the diode (cmount) is fried but the crystal assembly and the tec that cools it is fine. It has two tecs and converting this inefficient greenie into a full watt + seems easy enough in my book. replace the crystal assembly with the yvo4. fun project for the money!

In that case, it looks like a great buy:-) Please don't forget to keep us all posted if you take on the project.
