Default RGB White Brick Single mode

Many of us are building singlemode projector theese days. Me beeing one of thoose not fiddeling around 3mm diodes, micro soldering and custom diode mounts, would like to get somewhat the same beamquiality as in DTR RGB boundle. This came up at AliExpress, and I would like to know if this White module is compareable in any way? Anybody who owns this one or have seen it in use?

Price is not scary compared to the cost of diodes - drivers and housing. Not to mention the hours used in metalwork and soldering saved.

    Hi Datsurb,
Check with the vendor, but I would suspect that it's TTL only. Most of the combined RGB modules of this type are.

    Cheers

It says Analog for options, but i am more quirous about the choice of diodes used. I have enough of cheap lasers with fat beams at 10 meters. Really would like some pencil sharp beams without to much cost and time put into the build.
I guess some quick questions to the vendors can bring light upon the issue.

    Thaks for answering Adrian.

often the "analog" mode on those cheap rgb modules is some nasty pwm thing that is really poor for color modulation.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

The blue isn't single mode, only the red is, so you would have a stripe blue, and the green they use is poor quality... better to get one from Laserwave, it will be under 500 and have tight beams...

Yeah - it`s quite interesting looking at the pictures they use in their adverts, to show off. 10Watt lasers in the picture for selling a 500mW projector. :-) Often the same pictures used by serveral producers, and then the whole range of projectors.

I did not know what to look for when buying my first projector, and i did not know what to expect. With a little more experience, and a fistfull of dollars less, I now know what i want, and what to expect from a laserprojector, and from a seller.

A classic! Often seen on Ebay now, and usually working. In about 1977 they went from gray paint to white.

The specs say 532nm... If you want a single mode brick laserwave has one for $550ish I saw one at NWLEM this weekend. picture It is the projector to the left above the argon and on top of the other projector...
