hello DZ, would you please PM me what you are thinking, I will PM you what I have learned since I bought this..

I couldn't even get the seller to answer my questions about it in the first place. Good luck! I was only concerned with what shows were on the tapes. I certainly didn't need the ADAT's and I didn't want to buy shows that I already have. I would have paid the full price and taken players if it was content I ddn't already have.

I got the stuff yesterday in two huge boxes, one adat was damaged, they came by FEDEX.... did you see in the news the packages falling from that fedex truck?~?~

13 tapes, I am so excited, yet I hope the rubber belts and such are still good within the adats.

When stuff like that happens, I always wonder if any of the damaged items are irreplaceable.

LaserCo I would avoid using Fedex for a while. *Contractor outrage for one* I hear Fedex isn't doing so well end this year but USPS is actually doing really well.
I saw other people on facebook who had lost packages of fedex.

Glad the stuff arrived! Sorry to hear one got damaged though, hopefully the content of the tapes are in good shape. If you're sticking with the adats I would make backup copies of the tapes in case they're old. I'd recommend getting them converted to wave, much easier to backup/archive. Feel free to send me a PM if I can help in any way.

If you need them converted with LC-adat then I will do it for you for free.
You just need to upload the sound files and let me know which is channel 1, 2 and 3 4 and 5
Just order the wav files.

I will not store the wav files send but I'd help just for the sake of data preservation.

FedEx ran over (directly on top of for the most part) 14 adult bushes in my yard last week, so I'm a bit disenchanted with fedex as well. Thank goodness I've got security cameras that caught the whole thing!

New diode from Mits. A member on LPF posted a thread about it (I'm half convinced he works for Techhhood). Its a multi die diode, hence the goofy 2 beams...but in the thread on LPF he stuck a beam expander on it, and the beams look to be parallel, so may be usable.
