    Extracted from unused 6x bluray laser diode sled.

    My guess is 200-250 mW as an absolute maximum for running these any long period of time. I run the sames ones (well, 6x's... and there are 2 different types of them) and don't push them past 125mW... had them for almost a year now and (knock on wood) no issues so far

    The fine print:

    Laser diode Wavelength: 405nm.
    Maximum power output: 350mw.
    Maximum CW power: 250mW
    Recommended CW power: 190mA
    Recommended CW current: 280-300mA

    If you do get it I would love if you could identify a part inside of it that exploded in mine lol

    theres a 16 pin IC that has to do with current regulation that literally blew up so I have no way of identifying the part
