this is a YAG head, fiber connector is 808nm pump input, the output is direct beam, and the DB9 gives access to the crystal temp control and power monitor I think

I am not paying $1000 for a broken laser, but one of you guys might--

It looks like it was pulled out of a dumpster, but it could be anything from just being out of alignment or set for a low power to missing optics/wrong optics/fried diode/etc. The rust on the heatsink certainly isn't promising though!

Well laserben is the seller.... He posted it in another thread. Although gooeygus had luck with pat's which was outputting 10mW by realigning the KTP. Too bad he is missing in action with the Melles and my IR goggles now.
Support your local Janitor- not solicited .

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

Yes, that is my auction. This unit only has a problem with the diode, not any other optical elements.

AOTF from 250-400nm, looks in pretty decent shape Although its worrisome, the manual implies it has a 30% modulation efficiency

But for that price, the driver alone is worth it!

I don't know what these go for, but I thought it was interesting & it was on ebay- so this is the right place.
