If those were less power (and therefore, less expensive), I'd consider it a deal.
Don't forget that 405nm was just as expensive as this thing about 2-3 years ago when Blu-ray started to pick up. 445 is now dropping beneath the $1/mW range (like DPSS green), and I'm taking a guess when I say that some manufacturers are ramping up for laser projection markets (e.g. television or home cinema).
Let these babies drop a bit more and 405 will be knocked clean out of the market, and maybe even 473 because of its high cost and power instability. 445 will give you the best of both worlds...
An interesting lot, probably worth it to you dpss junkies:

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
Looks like the exact B&W Tek BWB-10-OEM that Ben was marking up and having problems with.
Looks like the seller bought them from the same place, unscrewed them from the heatsink they came on, tested them and marked them up 54 bucks.
Better than what we had here................
If they do 10mw or more, i believe they've been "tweaked" "pot modded" cranked up a wee bit. I've seen some other "20mw max" B&W Tek units, and they don't come over 20mw, and these units i'm talking were new...
I bought 2 of the 473nm units from ebay at $75, and they're both doing 5mw exactly. I believe that is the power they were set to by the manufact.. 'cause unless the photo sensor is damaged they would output less not more then the spec. (pump diode, end of life)
Just an opinion

hi folks, I've been looking for something like this to my YAG systems... Do you know this power supplies? I mean, they seem to be very cheap at this auction as to really be in working order... Does someone have any experience with this particular Kaiser power supplies? would these ps be "rugged" enough as to be confident that there's a high probability for them to be in working order? If so it seems to be a real good deal, only $17!!!
Cheers!
