    If anyone is up for a REALLY big DPSS laser, there is a ~10kw 808nm array up for grabs http://cgi.ebay.com/Coherent-Nuvonyx...2#ht_500wt_928

    The driver is also listed (a full 42u rack, using lumina power drivers), as well as a huge yag rod that I can only assume was meant to eventually be integrated into that diode array. There are some other optics listed from Boeing, which has a facility close down not too far from valencia, so I am guessing it was related to one of their uuberlasers. A shame they didn't make more progress on the laser before trashing it

    oh my!!! thats serious! did you see the labels on the drivers? "drives lasers up to 4kW" on each one!!! thats some serious stuff... perfect for knocking down that wall to make your bedroom larger

    probably out of the price range for a teenager I guess... plus he wont be able to resell it here for a bunch more money so not worth playing with probably lol

    The blurb states 1280 hours, but the photo look more like 12100 hours.
