Features:
The Candela Vascular Lesion Laser is a flashlamp-excited dye laser, a device that produces an intense, but gentle, burst of laser light, especially optimized to treat vascular lesions. It features a wavelength of 585 nm, providing the optimal setting for selective photothermolysis. The light from the laser is absorbed only by the vessels of the lesion and passes harmlessly through surrounding tissue, thus allowing it to be used on even the most sensitive skin areas.
High-power Q-Switched IR DPSS laser: http://cgi.ebay.com/Spectra-Physics-...#ht_3095wt_907
web.archive.org's archive of SP's site says it's a 4W Q-switched 1064nm laser. Sadly, its not terribly useful unless you also happen to have a Spectra-Physics T20 pump unit sitting around![]()

Another one for your esoteric laser collectors
Fair play to him for actually quoting Steve Roberts for the tech info, rather than merely copying it.
