    and is it easy to plug in?
    just connect and go?
    maybe another cable required?

    The one I use is actually one of these :
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...E:B:EF:GB:1123

    easy to connect, has a separate keyswitch, does the job well.

    As far as I know, they only do one type - however, you could always stick an 'Emergency Stop' label on the box, next to the switch, as there's plenty of room - use embossed tape like DYMO and it should last a long time.

    Lets hope he's not bought himself a Gasser (I know he's just finished a DPSS build)

    With a Gas head however, you have a interlock loop on your exciter you could use for this purpose, smacking the button would break the loop and terminate light but coolant would still continue to flow.

    Cheers,

    Any reason you can think of why in the US you couldn't cut off the socapex plug and replace it with an edison style plug for our style of AC outlets? How long is the lead from the E-stop to the projector? It looks (in the picture) to only be a few inches.

    Lead from mains plug to E-stop is 4 feet long.(I use an anti-surge mains plug for extra protection). Lead from E-stop to IEC plug is 10 inches long. I use a 5 metre IEC extension lead between the E-stop and the projector, easy to extend if required.
    Changing the plug shouldn't be a problem.

    <QUOTE>

    Light is measured in wavelength. The unit of measurement is called nanometer (nm). The nanometer is an extremly small measurement (one billions of a meter) the visual spectrum of light occurs within the range of 380 - 760 nanometers. Research indicates the laser biological stimulation occurs in the red range of 635nm. Biomodulation is the effect laser lite has on cells and tissue. The goal of biomodulation is to stimulate without exceeding the cells ability to function properly. This is accomplished using the low level cold laser with the wavelength of 635nm. to biomodulate the cells to that wavelength - the wavelength of a human cell is 635nm. This lite is 5x brighter then 650nm & 10x brighter then 670nm. The visual range of the 635 is 800 yds vs the 650 range of 500 yds. Mean time to failure of the laser is 3000 hrs. for the 650 - 5000 hrs. for the 635.
