Will they sell it to you in it's current condition? It's a working medical laser. There might be some FDA issues or they will have to "demedicalize" it.

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.
We will see, its missing the fiber/delivery stuffs so it wouldn't be too useful for surgery any more, but I might have to jump through some hoops. I have never had issues with buying medical lasers in the past, although I haven't bought a med laser quite this massive before
Good luck then. I just cringe sometimes when I see medical lasers because when they leave the loading docks "demedicalized" they tend to have all kinds of cables cut. I doubt this will happen as they are selling it as operational. They may just disconnect the cabling between the head and the PS and "accidentally" leave the cables with the unit.
