I have one on order. I'm going to use it with a module and pump harvested from a PGL 589 50mW unit. At least, if someone can help me figure out the wattage of the stock IR pump

..when pumped with a 3W 808nm laser diode (with a fiber fast axis collimation) the output of 532nm green light of more than 500 mW can be easily achieved(see performance curve, pic 3).
So what you need to do is just simply to add a 808nm LD as a pump to the mGreen laser module.

    That's so so easy!!!
Easy for them .. not so easy for meee ..
("fiber fast axis collimation" sold separately heh)

junktronix used to sell some FAC corrected 2,3,4w 808 diodes...
if someone takes the plunge, just be carefull, most ebay 808 diodes are 808 +/- 10nm which is no good for shg

this one has always intrigued me http://www.ebay.com/itm/Laser-Diode-...ht_2135wt_1185 but never got round to buying one, had yvo4, didn't have ktp

Frank, this seems like a nice find! i just wish some of the more knowledgable dpss members chime in on this one
