    I have one that I bought from this seller, and it works great!!
    But like 300evil said they WILL KILL!! 4 caps at 7000uf each at 1.2kv. in 3 secs..
    Also has a bleed off built in, so if you kill the power to it, it will bleed your caps
    Just my 2 cents...

    I bought one too! I have not tested it yet, but it arrived brand new and perfectly packed. It will be a lot of fun to power my SSY-1 with it. I will build a water cooled flashlamp cavity, insert a bigger flashlamp and replace the dye q-switch with a cr:yag one, so I can use the full power of this unit. Should be easily possible to reach 20Hz with 20J-30J.

    Are these gas/tube based systems or DPSS? Always wondered if they could be used somehow as a light source. Anyone know what kind of power they put out?
