    Nah... I've used 100 ft at SELEM with no problem. I've heard of people using as much as 200 ft, though I wouldn't recommend it.

    Yeah, I would think a good rule of thumb would be to stay under 150 ft...

    ive used 100 ft of cat5 cable, i just made a converter from the ilda 25 pin connector, to cat 5 terminations, and ran a couple of 100 ft cable to my projector...... with no problems,, (back when i had my Full Auto Card)

    I built a 50ft cable the other day (changed the connectors on an old cable) It was a straight through shielded, multi-stranded conductor, not twisted pair. I get quite a bit of LOSS AND DISTORTION to my galvos for some reason. Not saying it doesn't work for other people, but it didn't work for me. I'm using a QM-2000 BTW.

    I have a 100ft and a 50ft db25 cable I bought off of ebay. Both worked fine for me.

    I am just going to change the plug at one end. Hopefully it looks like it will be high quality cable
